The product count is the number of part numbers we handle in Japan (including 10 in development or Early Access). We confirm the manufacturer supply status — active, not recommended for new designs, or end of life — when you consider adoption. Product line and industry counts are actual figures based on this site.
Technology that keeps critical infrastructure running.
Power grids, factories, railways, base stations, defence. Where a single second of downtime is unacceptable, FPGAs deliver deterministic communication and nanosecond timing accuracy. We bring that technology to where it is needed.
Zero-interruption redundancy
HSR/PRP (IEC 62439-3) provides seamless redundancy: in the specified dual-path configuration, a single path failure causes no switchover wait.
Zero recovery time, cut-through forwardingSub-microsecond synchronisation
IEEE 1588 PTPv2 implemented in hardware, meeting the accuracy that substation protection relays and instrumentation require.
Sync accuracy < 1 μsTSN deterministic networking
With 802.1Qbv/Qci/CB you can engineer an upper bound on control-signal latency under appropriate bandwidth design and scheduling. Converges IT and OT onto a single Ethernet.
IEEE 802.1 TSN compliantWire-speed encryption
Wire-rate, low-latency Layer 2 encryption with MACsec. Protects communication in critical infrastructure.
MACsec / 802.1X / RADIUSHardware and networking —
accelerating FPGA development from both sides.
The modules that form the foundation of an FPGA system, and the networking, synchronisation and security IP that runs on top of them. Positive ONE Group supports both, end to end.
FPGA System-on-Module
and design services
Highly integrated SoM and SoC modules combining the flexibility of an ARM processor with the processing power of FPGA logic on a single board. Most models on sale come with a Linux BSP and reference designs, reducing development time and design risk (please confirm availability individually for models still in development).

Start from what you want to do and work back to the product.
A quick-reference table you can read backwards from your requirement. If you are unsure, start here and contact us - our engineers will help you clarify the requirements.
| What you want to do / your requirement | Recommended products | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|
| You want the largest logic capacity and high I/O in a credit-card footprint | Mercury+ XU1 | Up to 747,000 logic cells, 294 I/O, 16 x 12.5 Gbps MGTs and DDR4 ECC in 74 x 54 mm. |
| You want to sample RF directly (radar or radio) | Andromeda XRU50 / XRU30 | Built on Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC. ADCs and DACs connect straight to the FPGA, cutting out the external RF front end. |
| I want low power and a RISC-V SoC | Mercury+ MP1 | Microchip PolarFire SoC with an integrated RISC-V, proven in low-power, high-reliability applications such as medical ultrasound. |
| You want to design SO-DIMM modules into volume production quickly | Mars XU3 / AX3 | The industry-standard SO-DIMM form factor. A Design-in Kit gives the shortest route from evaluation to production. |
| You need zero-recovery-time redundant Ethernet in a substation | HPS (HSR/PRP IP) | A full hardware implementation of HSR/PRP to IEC 62439-3. Zero-interruption redundancy that fits even on low-cost FPGAs. |
| You want nanosecond-class time synchronisation without a CPU | 1588Tiny / MultiSync | IEEE 1588 slave IP requiring no CPU. Nanosecond-class accuracy in minimal resources, with L3 PTP support. |
| You are building a deterministic network (TSN) for industry or automotive | MTSN / TGES | Managed TSN switch IP with up to 32 ports and 10G support, conforming to the various TSN profiles. |
| You want to evaluate now, without buying hardware outright | SMARTmpsoc / Multiport FMC | An evaluation setup with reference firmware preloaded. Please confirm the contents of the supplied image, including Linux, for your configuration. |
We do more than
supply products.
Positive ONE Group provides consistent technical support from module selection through to production ramp-up, acting as the bridge between you and the manufacturer.
Discuss what support you need →Selection consulting
Our engineers propose the right combination of SoM and IP core based on your requirements.
Arranging evaluation kits and samples
We arrange Design-in Kits and evaluation kits to support early functional verification and prototyping.
Contract design and custom development →
Contract development of FPGA HDL, embedded software and high-speed hardware, under a "we develop, you own" policy. VHDL and Verilog across every device from the four major vendors.See the design services in detail
Volume production and long-term supply support
We secure supply stability in volume production, along with continuous support and product change notification (PCN) management across the product lifecycle.
World-class technology
with support to Japanese standards.
Vendor-neutral recommendations
We work across AMD, Altera and Microchip and propose the best answer without being tied to one vendor. Technology selection starts from your problem, not from a product line.
Reliability backed by a track record
The technology of both companies is used in social infrastructure and industrial plant where stopping is not an option. High-reliability SoMs with conformal coating and burn-in are also available.
A single technical point of contact
Fast responses on specifications, quotations, samples and volume production. A local point of contact absorbs the time-zone and language barriers.
By device, logic cells and temperature grade
Narrow down to the right part number quickly.
Every product from both companies is listed. Filter and search to compare modules and IP cores against your requirements, then move straight from "See details" to specifications, documentation and enquiry. Pricing is quoted individually once the specification is settled.

Single units and small quantities are available for evaluation. Evaluation kits and samples let you verify on a small scale first and then move to production. Volume terms are discussed individually.
Most Enclustra SoMs on sale come with a Linux Board Support Package (BSP) and reference designs, and the Enclustra Build Environment lets you build FSBL, U-Boot, Linux and the root file system quickly. For products still in development, please confirm BSP and reference design availability individually. User manuals, schematics, 3D models, PCB footprints and differential length tables are also provided.
Most modules offer a choice of commercial and industrial grade (around -40 to +85 C) and are covered by long-term supply for industrial, automotive and defence use. Product change notification (PCN) and ISO 9001 quality management are in place. Ask us about the temperature range and supply outlook for a specific part number.
SoC-e IP cores are built on open standards and can be implemented on several FPGA families, primarily AMD/Xilinx. They are supplied as VHDL source and work with EDA tools such as AMD Vivado. Extensive synthesis-time and run-time parameters let you optimise FPGA resource usage, and custom development for specific applications is available. A technical support package is included.
Pricing varies with the configuration - device, memory capacity, temperature grade, quantity and any customisation - so we quote individually. Enter the product name and an outline in the contact form and our engineers will confirm the specification and send a quotation.
