Overview

Lynx SAI50 (MLSoC Modalix) is a module in the Enclustra Lynx family, built around an MLSoC dedicated to edge AI inference. Unlike a general-purpose FPGA, its architecture is optimised for machine learning inference, delivering high inference throughput at low power.

Industrial temperature grade is available alongside commercial, so it can be deployed outdoors or in vehicles.

Positive ONE Group supports Lynx SAI50 (MLSoC Modalix) end to end — from selection advice and arranging an evaluation opportunity through to supply and long-term care once you reach volume production. We work in English and Japanese.

Lynx SAI50 is an edge-AI module built around the SiMa.ai Modalix MLSoC. Rather than an FPGA, it carries a heterogeneous SoC optimised for AI inference. Its main components are as follows.

Lynx SAI50 is at Early Access stage and its software environment is being built out around SiMa.ai ONE Platform, Palette and ONNX. The timing and scope of OS support may change, so we confirm the latest position before advising. Note that the product carries a SiMa.ai Modalix MLSoC rather than an FPGA, so the build environment differs from FPGA toolchains.
