RELY-TEST — automated IEC 61850 test set
An automated test system for IEC 61850 digital substations. IED conformance testing, FAT, SAT, maintenance and remote fault analysis can all be scripted.
Overview
This is not a general-purpose IEC 61850 analyser; it is built around test automation. It imports SCD/CID files to understand the configuration, then runs GOOSE publish and subscribe, Sampled Values generation and MMS report reception as a single test scenario. Test templates are written in JavaScript and can be customised per IED. Manual testing struggles with repeatability and effort; automation makes identical repeated tests practical.
