Mercury+ MP1
PolarFire SoC SoM with RISC-V. Low power and highly reliable, with a track record in medical ultrasound.

Overview
Mercury+ MP1 is the Microchip PolarFire SoC model in the flagship Mercury+ family. PolarFire SoC is a flash-based FPGA with a hard RISC-V processor, low power draw and high reliability, making it an option other SoCs cannot match where power, security and dependability matter most.
DDR4 ECC memory keeps data reliable in systems that run continuously and cannot tolerate bit errors. Industrial temperature grade is available alongside commercial, so it can be deployed outdoors or in vehicles.
Positive ONE Group supports Mercury+ MP1 end to end: device selection, evaluation kits, access to reference designs and Linux BSPs, and supply and long-term availability in volume production. We work in English and Japanese.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a single Mercury+ MP1?
We confirm availability, quantities and pricing with the manufacturer before replying. Please tell us your evaluation plans and the quantity you need.
Does Linux run on Mercury+ MP1? Is a BSP provided?
Yes. The Enclustra Build Environment lets you build FSBL, U-Boot, Linux and the root file system quickly. What the Linux BSP and reference designs cover varies by configuration, so please tell us the environment you plan to use.
Can I choose the temperature grade of Mercury+ MP1?
Commercial and industrial grades are available. Choose the industrial grade for demanding thermal environments such as outdoor or in-vehicle installations. Ask us about the exact range supported by each part number.
Is design data available for mounting Mercury+ MP1 on a board?
User manuals, schematics, 3D models (STEP), PCB footprints and pinout tables are provided. Footprints are also available for common PCB design tools.
What is the price and lead time for Mercury+ MP1?
Pricing for Mercury+ MP1 depends on configuration, quantity, temperature grade and any customisation, so we quote individually. Tell us your application and quantity in the form on this page and our engineers will confirm the specification and come back with a quotation and lead time.
