Overview

Overview

Mars ZX2 belongs to the Enclustra Mars family, which uses the industry-standard SO-DIMM form factor. Because it uses the same connector as a common DDR3 memory socket, mounting on the carrier board is simple and both cost and assembly scale well into volume production.

With 108 user I/O the module is compact yet still brings out everything most designs need. Industrial temperature grade is available alongside commercial, so it can be deployed outdoors or in vehicles.

Positive ONE Group supports Mars ZX2 end to end: device selection, evaluation kits, access to reference designs and Linux BSPs, and supply and long-term availability in volume production. We work in English and Japanese.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy a single Mars ZX2?

We confirm availability, quantities and pricing with the manufacturer before replying. Please tell us your evaluation plans and the quantity you need.

Does Linux run on Mars ZX2? Is a BSP provided?

Yes. The Enclustra Build Environment lets you build FSBL, U-Boot, Linux and the root file system quickly. What the Linux BSP and reference designs cover varies by configuration, so please tell us the environment you plan to use.

Can I choose the temperature grade of Mars ZX2?

Commercial and industrial grades are available. Choose the industrial grade for demanding thermal environments such as outdoor or in-vehicle installations. Ask us about the exact range supported by each part number.

Is design data available for mounting Mars ZX2 on a board?

User manuals, schematics, 3D models (STEP), PCB footprints and pinout tables are provided. Footprints are also available for common PCB design tools.

Is Mars ZX2 covered by long-term supply?

Yes. This model belongs to a family designed for long-term supply and is managed under a product change notification (PCN) process. Contact us for the current supply outlook.
